Deionized Water Filtration System Maintenance

The County of San Mateo Sheriff's Office Forensic Laboratory is seeking a qualified vendor for solicitation 2027-RFP-Informal-00125 to provide biannual preventative maintenance for its Millipore Elix 20 and Milli-Q Advantage A10 water purification systems. The scope of work requires service visits in November 2026 and May 2027, consisting of general inspections, the replacement of OEM purification components such as cartridges and filters, and the verification of monitoring instrumentation. To ensure quality and compliance, the contractor must utilize trained and qualified personnel, provide detailed service reports after each visit, and submit a DNA reference sample via buccal swab to monitor for contamination. The contract is awarded based on the overall best value, with evaluation criteria weighted toward minimum qualifications and price.
