The project aims to enhance public safety, eliminate blight, and revitalize neighborhoods, with all work to be completed within thirty days of contract execution. Bidders must meet licensing requirements, verify measurements, and comply with federal, state, and local codes, including EPA RRP rules if applicable. The procurement process emphasizes inclusive pricing, adherence to prevailing wage laws, and registration with SAM and UEI systems. The bid submission deadline is July 31, 2025, with the contract awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, contingent upon meeting all specifications and requirements. The City reserves the right to reject bids or cancel the solicitation if necessary, and successful bidders must execute a formal agreement and provide proof of insurance prior to starting work. Site access is limited to exterior views during normal hours unless arrangements are made for interior inspection, and contractors are encouraged to visit the site beforehand. The process involves a pre-construction meeting, and all bids must be valid for 60 days post-submission. For questions related to project details or bidding procedures, contact information is provided for designated city officials. This project is part of the City’s broader efforts to improve neighborhood conditions and promote equitable participation, including opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses and employment for low-income residents.
