Demolition of Structure at 512 N. Broadway

The City of Aurora, Illinois, has issued Invitation for Bid 26-078 for the demolition and removal of an approximately 6,500 square foot single-story wood and light-gauge metal frame structure with a metal roof and slab-on-grade foundation located at 512 N. Broadway. The scope of work includes the removal of the building and footing walls to one foot below existing grade, backfilling with IDOT CA-7, and the disconnection and plugging of existing water and sanitary sewer services. An optional bid alternate is included for the removal of over 8,500 square feet of concrete pavement from the site. While electrical and gas services have already been removed, the awarded contractor is responsible for the disposal of all demolished materials.
