Dental Assistant / FCI Marianna

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of (2) Dental Assistant Services for the Federal Correctional Institution , located in Marianna, Florida. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contractor shall provide Two Dental Assistant services for the inmate population in a correctional setting for the Health Services Department at FCI Marianna. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 1,440 sessions each, per year for (2) Dental Assistant, a session is defined as one hour. The contractor will conduct services an average of thirty hour per week. Additional sessions may be provided on an as needed basis. The Contractor will normally work, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The contractor's applicants must have a medical/technical background obtained through education or on the job training in the dental field. The Contractor will provide Dental Assistant services in accordance with Bureau of Prison policy. Offers are requested to submit photocopies of their resume or license and/or board certification, and sign a consent for release of Information for verification of credentials along with their quote price per session. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 15, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
