The primary objectives are to enhance safety and security systems and replace deteriorated, obsolete, or hazardous materials. This work is classified as repairs and minor alterations to existing public facilities with no significant expansion of use. The project was approved by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors on July 8, 2025, following a previous approval in April 2023.
