Design & Contract Administration - Sidewalk Infill Program

The Town of Ajax is soliciting bids from qualified Civil Engineering Consultants for the Design and Contract Administration of its Sidewalk Infill Program. The project scope involves detailed design and the preparation of tender packages for sidewalk infill at four specific locations: Pickering Beach Road, Elizabeth Street, Finley Avenue, and Bramwell Drive. Key technical requirements include conducting topographical surveys, confirming utility locations and relocation needs, and performing geotechnical investigations with boreholes approximately 3 meters deep. Administrative requirements include the use of Builterra software for bid document preparation and a preference for Microsoft Teams for virtual collaboration. Successful consultants must maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance of at least 5 million dollars and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario, providing a WSIB Certificate of Clearance.
