DESIGN BUILD CARPORT MOUNTED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYTEM

This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is only available to local utility companies under a General Services Administration Utility Areawide Contract (a master blanket contract for public utility services) within the service territory for maryland GSA/NCR seeks to obtain services from a local utility company to perform a photovoltaic system mounted on carports project at the GSA WHITE OAK FACILITY, located at [10903 NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE, SILVER SPRING, MD.. The precise scope of work will be issued in the solicitation documents, but the requirement will include providing al supervision, design, calculations, labor, materials, and equipment a design build project to furnish and install carport mounted Utility-interactive Photovoltaic System with charging stations. The estimated total value of the entire Project is between $1 and $2 million GSA/NCR anticipates that it will require the local utility company to assemble and lead a multi-disciplinary team composed of architects, engineers, general contractors, trade contractors, specialty contractors, and/or other consultants in order to provide taxpayers with outstanding and cost effective services. GSA/NCR anticipates that the local utility company will perform design and construction services that will not only meet, but surpass, federal energy goals, including, but not limited to the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
