Design Services for Albert Shores Septic to Sewer Project

The contract pertains to the design services for the Albert Shores Septic to Sewer Project in Orlando, Florida, aimed at addressing environmental concerns caused by aging private septic systems in the Albert Shores neighborhood. These failing septic systems have been contributing to nutrient pollution in Lake Holden, a water body impaired under the Lake Okeechobee Basin Management Action Plan. The project follows a 2018 city study identifying roughly 84 homes that could transition from septic to public sewer systems.
