The item is classified as a Type I shelf-life item with a non-extendable six-month shelf life, requiring strict compliance with packaging, marking, and shipping standards per MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, including the special marking code 32 for Type I shelf-life identification. Packaging and palletization must adhere to DLA’s RP001 requirements, and hazardous materials shipping protocols under IP025 apply.
