AI Contract Overview
This contract is for the supply of powdered detergent specifically designed for cleaning glassware and instruments used in hospitals and laboratories. The detergent must maintain a pH range between 9.0 and 9.5 and be suitable for use in both manual and ultrasonic cleaning machines. Each unit will weigh 4 pounds and have a shelf life of 48 months, with the stipulation that no more than seven months can pass between the manufacture date and delivery to the government. Packaging requirements mandate that each unit is properly sealed and protected to prevent damage during transit, with commercial-grade exterior packing suitable for safe delivery at the lowest rate to the specified location, MCBH Kaneohe Bay. The labeling on each unit must include essential information such as the National Stock Number (NSN), manufacturer details, date of manufacture, expiration or retest date, contract or lot number, and the unit of issue (each). The contract adheres to strict medical marking standards, superseding older military specifications, to ensure compliant identification. The procurement also references technical and quality requirements governed by the DLA Master List, with adherence to packaging and defense information security protocols.
