DFL Elevator Maintenance

This bid solicitation cancels and replaces the previous call for tenders number 9F023-23-0068 / 9F023-20230068 dated September 22, 2023 and closing on October 12 at 2:00 pm. A debriefing or feedback session will be organized upon request for bidders/suppliers who request such a meeting within the next 72 hours. The Canadian Space Agency wants to obtain complete elevator maintenance service to the David Florida Laboratory/Canadian Space Agency, located at 3701 Carling Avenue, Building No.65 in Ottawa, Ontario, in accordance to the CSA B44-94 safety codes for elevators at the requested time frequency and to the sub-section requirements. Period of the Contract The period of contract is from one year from the date of contract award Optional periods(s) This request is for the award of a one (1) year contract, with four (4) irrevocable options of one (1) year each, which allows Canada to extend the term of the contract. Work location The work will take place at the David Florida Laboratory (3701 Carling Avenue, CP11490, Succ. H, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2). Security Requirement There is no security requirement applicable to the Contract. Optional Site Visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the David Floriday Laboratory (3701 Carling Avenue, CP11490, Succ. H, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2) on October 12th, 2023. The site visit will begin at 9:00am EDT, in Building 65 Main Lobby located off parking lot p-9. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than October 11th, 2023 at 9:00am EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, security requires names a minimum of 24 hours beforehand. Bidders will not be allowed to attend the site visit if they have not been pre-approved and listed for access. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment, but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
