Q1: Could you please confirm the Kohler generator model number(s) associated with this requirement? 


A1: The two generator have the same model numbers:  2000REOZMD


Q2: How many generators, how many gallons per generator and how many times do these generators need to be topped off per month?


A2: There are five generators in total. At the North Campus area there are the two Kohler generators and each has a 4,900 gallon tank. Behind B2 in the South Campus area there are three Caterpillar generators that share a single 10,000 gallon underground tank. There is no steady use and we do not have any per-generator consumption records. The tanks are filled depending on actual use during test runs and power outages. Last year we made one order of 9000 gallons for the entire site.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0787 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Diesel Fuel for Kohler Generators.  


This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 324110  The small business size standard is 1,500 Employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 


Statement of Requirement


This requirement is for Diesel Fuel for Kohler Generators in accordance with the attached specifications.


Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1)). Payment will be made utilizing the Department of the Treasury Invoice Processing Platform at www.ipp.gov.
