Digital File Creation, Management and Technical Support Services

Support the development of stamp designs, and support materials and to administer the associated stamp art files by providing digital file creation, digital file management, electronic pre-press, and support services. Services include file input, file editing, file output, file management, file distribution and support services. Original physical artwork must be received and scanned before securely returning to USPS. The successful supplier must be able to generate color-managed, ICC-compliant master RGB files, properly tagged as well as image-matched, SWOP-certified CMYK files, built to stated press parameters. Designs will be multiple in formats including: se-tenants (2), blocks of four, strips of five, panes of 15 or 20, etc. Master files of each stamp subject must be created in formats and resolutions suitable for re-purposing in a wide variety of applications and permanently archived on suitable digital media. Stamp images must be available online through a secure asset management system for use by Stamp Services personnel and authorized users. Location of the successful supplier's facilities must be within 125 miles of USPS Stamp Development in Washington, DC. The successful supplier shall maintain USPS sensitive security clearances for all employees.
