SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking to purchase digital imaging plates and related items through Vizient Contract #XR0713, leveraging a purchasing authority that allows for procurement from a consortium without a formal competitive process when justified by price. The solicitation is a sealed bid, requiring all questions and submissions to be made via email, with no faxed or mailed documents accepted. Bidders must respond by November 28, 2025, and are encouraged to acknowledge attendance at the bid opening at least one week prior to the deadline. The procurement is open to vendors across all New York State counties, with the contract expected to run from December 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Vendors interested in similar ventilator products are invited to contact the designated procurement officer for further discussion. The process is governed by New York State laws, including the Lobbying Law and Vendor Responsibility requirements, which mandate vendors to complete specific online questionnaires and submit current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms. Vendors are advised to register with the NYS VendReP System and provide their Vendor ID. The contract does not specify a service-disabled veteran-owned set-aside. The primary contact for procurement is Richard Frenger, reachable via email and phone, with additional support available from Theresa Leppla. The procurement emphasizes strict compliance with state regulations and encourages vendors to review the detailed guidelines provided online.
