Dillon Road Resurfacing

The County of Riverside Transportation Department plans to resurface approximately 0.8 miles of Dillon Road, an arterial highway stretching from 200 feet west of Louise Street to Little Morongo Road. The project involves removing the top six inches of existing pavement and replacing it with six inches of Hot Mix Asphalt to improve surface conditions. Additional enhancements include re-grading and installing a cross gutter at the northwest corner of Dillon Road and Little Morongo Road to resolve ponding issues, as well as necessary utility adjustments and full roadway signing and striping to ensure safety and compliance with current standards. The road, currently 32 to 64 feet wide within an 80 to 100-foot right-of-way, will retain its two-lane configuration while benefiting from these upgrades. The work is scheduled under the project title Dillon Road Resurfacing with a posted date of June 3, 2026, and will be performed in Desert Hot Springs, California.
