Full Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote on or about 20 December 2013. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Following the issuance of the Request for Quote, it is anticipated that the Government will award a firm fixed-price contract based on best overall value to the Government. The Contractor shall provide a "Turn-Key" solution for dispatch console furniture & access flooring in the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) located in building 106 at Stewart Air National Guard Base, Newburgh, NY. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain associated design, delivery and complete set-up installation services for the project. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, shipping and transportation necessary to meet all furniture purchasing, installation, and overall set-up requirements specific to the forthcoming solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 337211 with a corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees. The Government will make a single award to a responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of a best value evaluation process. Issuance of the solicitation will be on or about 20 December 2013 and will close on or about 21 January 2013. The solicitation will be posted electronically to the Federal Business Opportunities website only. NO HARD COPIES will be sent. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be eligible for award. Be aware that the government does not currently have funding for this project. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Any resultant award will include DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, "Electronic Submission of Payment Requests".
