District Wide Fencing Project Rebid

The project entails the removal of existing fencing and the fabrication, galvanization, priming, and powder coating of new 6-foot high wrought iron fencing along with 5-foot wide by 7-foot high wrought iron pedestrian gates at five Oceanside Unified School District sites: McAuliffe Elementary School, Nichols Leadership Academy, Foussat Language Academy, Martin Luther King Middle School, and Ivey Ranch Elementary School. All materials must meet specified gauge requirements for pickets, rails, and posts, and gates must be equipped with Von Duprin 99 Series hardware, 10-inch kickplates, and welded security mesh. Work is to be performed entirely on-site at these locations, with all labor performed at prevailing wages and compliance with California labor standards. The project has an anticipated start date of July 20, 2026, and a completion date of February 19, 2027, with all materials and equipment to be procured and installed by the contractor.
