The Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Rehabilitation Services (MSDE-DORS) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) in order to procure the services defined in this Section 2, as specified in this RFQ, between the successful bidder and the Maryland State Department of Education- Division of Rehabilitation Services. MSDE-DORS is seeking a vendor to audit and issue an opinion on the financial statements of the Maryland Business Enterprise Program for the Blind (MBEPB) under the authority and supervision of the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS). The purpose of the annual audit is to assure stakeholders that the Program’s financial statements are fairly presented in a Cash Basis format and that all disclosures required by laws and regulations accompany such statements. This Cash Basis presentation is a recognized Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting. This RFQ covers period beginning State Fiscal Year 2023, 2024, and 2025.
