PRESOLICITATION NOTICE


Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST), has a requirement to procure storage for personal effects (PE) for deploying service members aboard MCB CLNC and satellite activities deploying for 90 or more days. The requirement is to inventory items with service members, ensure the items are packed securely, stored, and returned.


The storage location shall be within a 70-mile radius of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.  


It is the Government’s intent to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 484210. The NAICS Industry Description is Used Household and Office Goods Moving.  The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services).  


This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotes.  The solicitation (M6700126Q0083) will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contracting Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov.  It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for the solicitation and any associated amendments.  Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, is required for entities to do business with and receive funds from the federal Government. Businesses will be assigned a Commercial and Government Entities (CAGE) Code and a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number via the SAM website.
