The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Bureau of Maternal, Child, and Family Health, Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program is seeking proposals for recruitment, training, and support of farmers and farmers’ markets participating in the electronic Ohio WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP). The WIC FMNP has been operating in Ohio since 1992 using paper vouchers to provide WIC participants with extra benefits to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. To increase participation and redemption of benefits, Ohio WIC is modernizing the FMNP, transitioning from physical vouchers to electronic benefits (e-benefits). Offerors will need to review the attached RFP ODH #SRC0000041223. Each Offeror must submit a technical proposal and cost proposal as part of its total Proposal before the opening time on the Proposal due date. Further, the Offeror must title the electronic files with “ODH RFP #SRC0000030434/DOH61126 - Technical Proposal” and "ODH RFP #SRC0000030434/DOH611261 - Cost Proposal” as appropriate.
