Full Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Door and Access Control Repair Services - SYA located at Sunburst Youth Academy, 4022 Saratoga Avenue, Building 21, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. The Contractor shall repair, maintain, and upgrade designated doors and access control systems utilizing existing infrastructure, including the replacement of specified components and key card readers, while reusing existing wiring and hardware where applicable. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to contact@example.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 35336 - DO NOT OPEN.
Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 5/7/2025, at 10:00 AM at Sunburst Youth Academy, 4022 Saratoga Avenue, Building 21, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.
Prospective bidder shall follow the special instructions below on where to meet before caravanning to the job site. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Sergey Kinchak at contact@example.gov.
Special job walk instructions for Joint Forces Training Base ¿ Los Alamitos: Prospective bidders shall meet behind Building 244, just East of the Main Gate Entrance sign and receive the briefing before caravanning to the job site. Once the pre-bid job walk has concluded, all bidders must sign out with the Contracting Officer to be considered responsive to the bidding requirements of this IFB.
Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.
The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-28 - Lock and Security Equipment Contractor license, or subcontract to one.
All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Sergey Kinchak, at contact@example.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 5/14/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 35336.
