Full Description
The project for which Bids are being solicited is subject to the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security payable to “Polk Township” in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 5 of the General Conditions. Bids may be held by Polk Township, and shall remain valid, for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and qualifications of the Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the time set for the Bid Opening, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the Contract Documents.
Polk Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to accept any Bid which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above.
