The Strategic Medical Countermeasures Program (SMCP) on behalf of the Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp), Department of National Defence (DND), has a requirement for Doxycycline injectable for the treatment of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members who may have been exposed to bacterial biological warfare agents. The initial requirement is for the supply of 30,240 units of Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg for injection delivered to Petawawa, Ontario, Canada on or before 31 March 2026. Additionally, the Contracting Authority may exercise the option to acquire up to 60,480 additional units on an “as and when requested basis” over the lifetime of the contract. The product supplied must be in the dosage form of lyophilized powder for reconstitution administered by injection and following the criteria listed in Annex A of the Request for Proposal. The period of the contract will be from contract award until 31 March 2030.
