Draeger Anesthesia Machines

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Draeger Anesthesia Machines and Related Products from a contract awarded by Vizient pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent Draeger Anesthesia Machines and Related Products may, if interested, contact Virginia Frost to discuss the procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance of the Draeger Anesthesia Machines and Related Products. If offering a clinical equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinical documentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendor must be authorized to sell Draeger Anesthesia Machines as listed on the Vizient contract. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below.
