Invoicing is conducted monthly with detailed itemized statements including work ticket numbers and officer names, with payments processed within 30 days. The Department of Public Safety is tax-exempt, and vendors are prohibited from charging electronic payment fees. Liability for loss or damage remains with the contractor until final inspection, and a specific compensation schedule is established for the replacement of damaged items, typically at 50% of the retail cost.
