The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Contracting and Procurement Branch 1, proposes to contract the Drydock & Repairs of USCGC TERRAPIN (WPB - 87366), an 87' Patrol Boat Cutter, home moorage in Bellingham, WA. All work will be done at the Contractor's facility. This contract is geographically restricted to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, WA. The performance period will be forty-four (44) calendar days with a start date on or about 19 October 2011 through 02 December 2011. The proposed work items include but are not limited to: Renew Sea Valves; Install new Anchor Windlass; Install AFFF Bilge Sprinkler System; Preserve Mast; Preserve Underwater Body 100%; Preserve Freeboard. On or about 01July 2011, a Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This will be a Total Small Business Set-aside procurement.
