Remove and replace posts and beams throughout various Piedmont Hills covered walkway locations. Remove thirty-five (35) 12”x12” cover walk posts. Clean all existing post wood from footing. Fill footing with concrete and set/install Simpson CB1010 at each location. Replace thirty-five (35) posts with 10”x10” pressure treated. Remove 496’ lineal feet of 6”x12” beams. Replace 496’ 6”x12” lineal feet pressure treated beams. Remove and replace 360’ lineal feet of 4”x6” pressure-treated joists—removal and replacement of timber to be in various locations throughout the Piedmont Hills High School covered walkway. Raise the covered walk to align with the existing elevation. Structurally fasten new and existing 4”x6” joists to new 6”x12” beams. Supply and install new bolts and nuts where existing column caps remain. Shore-covered walk during replacement of posts, beams, and joists. Paint all new work with Dunn Edwards paint.
