The Department of the Air Force, through the AFLCMC/WAQKB office, awarded a sole-source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to Lexes Associates, Inc. on July 13, 2023, for the Eagles Automated Information System (EAIS). This acquisition, under NAICS code 541511 and solicitation FA8505-23-R-0001, provides specialized software engineering services to develop, integrate, and sustain program applications within a Cyber/Cloud environment. The primary goal is to replace fragmented legacy data sources with a synchronized, web-based electronic management system that offers real-time fleet and tooling information, including configuration management, modification tracking, and Time Compliance Technical Orders compliance across the F-15 community. The contract period of performance runs from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2028, consisting of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Lexes Associates, Inc. was selected as the sole source because they are the sole proprietor of the necessary technical data and licenses required to prevent gaps in combat readiness. While primarily supporting the F-15, the contract serves as a vehicle for multiple other platforms, including the F-16, C-130, B-1, C-5, A-10, and Global Hawk, with planned scope expansions to include the F-22, T-6, and KC-135.
