Full Description

Seeking bids at multiple levels. The library is seeking bids for 2 internet connections at speeds in the range from 50Mbps to 1Gbps for the library. This procurement is for bundled transport and Internet Access. Successful bidders will provide bids at each of these specified levels, except where not available. We will accept bids for both fiber and non-fiber options. If the circuit(s) are dedicated, the bid must state that. If the circuits are shared, the contention ratio ( potential number of potential users on the circuit simultaneously) of service must be specified in the bid. This is a single site library with 2 IP addresses (one goes to the hardwired computers which the second for wireless connections). Cost of eligible services must be separated from cost of ineligible services in the bid. If data limits are a part of the service then the data cap as well as overage charges must be included in the bid. Any necessary onetime non-recurring costs must be separated out and specified in the bid. Any leased equipment necessary for the functioning of Internet Access that is billed monthly must be included in the bid, including make and model. One year pricing or multi-year pricing will be considered, so long as a single year pricing is an option. Month-to-month, non-contracted agreements are acceptable as well. Any contracts should contain the language that the agreement is contingent upon state and/or federal funding, which effects the library's ability to pay. The method of transport delivery (fiber, copper, satellite, microwave, etc.) should be specified in the bid. If last mile and middle mile transport differ, both methods of delivery should be specified in the bid.
