Caltrans proposes a highway maintenance pavement project to preserve the existing facility and prevent further deterioration of the roadway. The project is in El Dorado County along the corridor of State Route (SR) 50, from Post Mile (PM) 73.00 to 77.30. This project is needed as the existing pavement shows signs of distress and poor ride quality. This project will increase the remaining service life of the existing pavement.
