PSPC on behalf of AAFC has a requirement for the replacement of the building's existing elevator and stair lift in the Charlottetown Research and Development Centre (CRDC). The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to: .1 Removal of the existing elevator and replacement with a similarly sized elevator in the existing elevator shaft. .2 Removal of the lift in the stairwell and the replacement with similar lift in the same location. .3 Electrical work includes disconnection and removal of wiring and equipment related to the existing elevator and stair lift, new electrical connections to the elevator, new lighting in elevator pit, new fire alarm devices and tie ins related to the elevator and generator status tie-ins to new elevator controller. .4 Replace elevator machine room door, door frame and door hardware. Paint to match remainder of doors. .5 Other work as further described in the Contract documents.
