LexisNexis AVCC Software
Solicitation # SRC0000042683
The Ohio Department of Public Safety is soliciting bids under solicitation number SRC0000042683 to obtain LexisNexis Accruint Virtual Crime Center (AVCC) software licensing for the Ohio Investigative Unit. This is a brand-specific procurement, meaning no alternates will be accepted. Bidders must be the manufacturer, an authorized representative, or an authorized distributor and must provide a signed authorization letter from the manufacturer to be considered responsive. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the low lot total, calculated by multiplying unit prices by the estimated usage of four units. The selected contractor must adhere to strict legal and security standards, including compliance with the Ohio Ethics Law, WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility requirements, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks. Because the software may handle sensitive data, the contractor must comply with the CJIS Security Policy, the NCIC 2000 Operating Manual, and IRS Publication 1075 for Federal Tax Information. All deliverables must be free of material defects for one year from the delivery date. Payments are typically issued via electronic funds transfer within 30 calendar days of receiving a proper invoice. Bidders must submit their responses through the OhioBuys Supplier Portal by the specified deadline.

AI Contract Overview

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is seeking an exemption from competition to procure a three-year software subscription and support agreement for the AiRISTA Flow SOFIA duress system from Mergent Systems. The total estimated value of the request is 96,004.53 dollars. This procurement is intended to address critical safety requirements at State Hospital South, with the agency justifying the exemption based on proprietary hardware compatibility and the belief that a competitive bidding process would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the state. The State of Idaho Department of Administration is managing this justification process under solicitation number 1468. In the interest of transparency, the state is inviting suppliers to review the request and provide information that may either support or contradict the claim that competition is impractical. Interested parties must submit their relevant information via the IPRO portal or email by the response deadline of October 22, 2026. The final decision to grant the exemption remains at the sole discretion of the DOP Administrator and is not subject to appeal.
