Electrical & Generator Systems Engineering

A new 75-kW permanent generator system is being designed with comprehensive engineering specifications that include detailed load calculations to ensure proper sizing and performance under operational demands. The scope entails upgrades to the existing electrical distribution infrastructure to accommodate the generator’s output and integrate seamlessly with current systems. All design work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for clearance, spacing, and safety distances, as well as incorporate flood protection measures to safeguard the generator and associated equipment from water damage under extreme weather conditions. The project is structured as a subcontract under the NAICS code 541340 for Engineering Services and is being managed by the Finance agency in Florida. Proposals must be submitted by September 9, 2026, and the work is expected to be performed in alignment with federal and local regulatory standards to ensure long-term reliability and operational safety.
