Full Description

PWC constructs, owns, operates, and maintains electrical distribution facilities in Cumberland County, North Carolina. PWC is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide miscellaneous electrical substation construction and repair services on an “as needed” and “on-call” basis, including installing underground conduit systems at various locations in accordance with the work as outlined in the enclosed specifications. As needed” and “on-call” are interchangeable and mean work that is needed by PWC from time to time for planned and unplanned, utility related, construction and repair activities. Work completed under this awarded contract will be assigned on a task order basis and the work invoiced for each task order shall be in accordance with the rates listed on the bid pricing form, to be included in the contract. A detailed scope of work will be provided for each task order between PWC and the Contractor. These task orders will be negotiated individually on a “Not to Exceed” basis. Total task order values will be set somewhat subjectively with the understanding that the contract time will vary depending on the amount of work assigned and rate at which the contract amount is consumed. In addition, there is no guarantee that the full task order amount will be fully expended. Fayetteville Public Works Commission estimates the following quantities will be necessary during the contract period. Quantities are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The Commission reserves the right to add additional work or delete work as needed.
