The VA North Texas Health Care System plans to negotiate a sole source contract with Endocardial Solutions, Inc. for the acquisition of one Ensite 3000 diagnostic system. This advanced system is designed to quickly and comprehensively diagnose and map arrhythmias or potentially fatal heart rhythms within a few heartbeats. Its capabilities enable the expansion of ablation therapy to a wider range of arrhythmia patients who were previously difficult to map. Key features of the system include a minimally invasive diagnostic approach that does not require contacting the heart's surface, the ability to display over 3,000 points of electrical activity using proprietary algorithms, real-time imaging of global heart chamber endocardial activation, and a high-resolution 3D color display pinpointing arrhythmia origins. No formal solicitation has been issued, and this notice serves solely for informational purposes, not as a request for bids. Alternative contractors may be considered only if they provide strong and convincing evidence of their qualifications and experience to meet the unique system specifications outlined. Responses must be submitted in writing within 10 calendar days of the notice, and the government retains full discretion on whether or not to open competition based on the responses received. The contract falls under the Department of Veterans Affairs and will be managed by the NETWORK Contract Office 17 in San Antonio, Texas.
