ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Elevated Tank Rehabilitation - DW 2024-009 will be received, by the City of Blakely, at Blakely City Hall ¿ 82 Court Square, Blakely, GA 39823, until 10:30 AM local time on September 3, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of rehabilitation of the City¿s existing 250,000 gallon & 1,000,000-gallon elevated water storage tanks. Work includes surface preparation and painting of exterior and interior of both tanks and all other items indicated in these Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, with alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM ¿ 5:00 P.M, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the Blakely City Hall; during the Authority¿s regular business hours. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above, by calling 229-496-5700, or by requesting via email from cgriffin@stillwaterseng.com or officeadmin@stillwaterseng.com. Bidding Documents are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $250.00. Upon Issuing Office¿s receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via email or other means of electronic file distribution. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
