The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for a Contractor to design, produce and maintain a bilingual Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Program and designate DND as an Authorized Provider of all levels of the Program. Approximately 600 individuals overseen by DND attend certification or recertification courses across Canada each year. These courses are delivered across Canada and overseas in both official languages of Canada (English and French), to individuals who frequently move between regions and across provincial boundaries. Approximately 69 instructors and 22 Instructor-Trainers overseen by DND are responsible for course delivery.
The Contractor must supply all hard copy textbooks, electronic course materials, and provide access to an online web portal where students and instructors can access course material, such as course certificates, soft copy textbooks, exams, and training materials. The Contractor must also provide EMR Training, Transitional Training and administrative support.
The Initial period of the contract is from date of Contract award to 31 March 2025, with an additional four (4) one (1) year option periods.
Canada retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
