Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This announce constitutes the synopsis only; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFQ) FA8571-13-T-0019. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88, effective 01 Apr 2013, NAICS is 334511 and small business size is 750 employees. Place of performance/FOB Robins AFB Georgia. The approximate RFP issue date will be 03 Jun 2013. Proposal is due 07 Jun 2013. This requirement is sole source to BEI Precision Systems & Space Company , Cage Code 12050 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
