Full Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Intelligence and Counter Intelligence is seeking to expand subscription coverage from 10 to 12 not-to-exceed users to commence with the award of Option Year 3 of contract DE-IN0000070 on 30 July 2017. Contract DE-IN0000070 was awarded to the Energy Intelligence Group (EIG) on July 30, 2014 for specialized subscription research tools and retainer advisory services. The DOE is using exemption to competition 6.302-1(a)(2), One Responsible Source. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes the DOE should not pursue adding to the number of users from 10 to 12 to contract DE-IN0000070, then they should submit a capability statement to contact@example.gov by 8 AM EST July 25, 2017. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
