Ice jams resulting in flooding have occurred near the bridges of Route 14, Back Coventry Road, Heermansville Road, and Route 105/Route 5. Previous ice jams in Coventry have been known to occur due to flash flooding, periods of quick warming, and thaws within winter and spring.
