The City of Chilliwack requires the services of a Consultant to provide engineering services for theFairfield Island Source Water Feasibility Study. The selected Consultant should complete a desktop and field-based source water feasibility study, including but not limited to exploratory borehole drilling, in the Fairfield Island area up to 1 km north and west of the Fairfield Island neighbourhood in Chilliwack to assess groundwater quality and aquifer productivity to provide source water for agricultural processing and the City’s potable water supply. The field-based work should be completed during the summer when temperatures are highest, to account for climate change impacts on the local groundwater as completely as possible.
