The OAG requires the services of one (1) Contractor to supply a minimum of five (5) Translators to deliver English to *Standard French translation services on an “as and when requested basis” with a volume of approximately 1 million words per year. The objective is for the Contractor to provide timely, consistent and reliable English to *Standard French translation services for documents varying in length and topics throughout the year. *Standard French is a set of spoken and written formal varieties used by the educated francophones of several nations around the world. As French is a pluricentric language, Standard French encompasses various linguistic norms. It is characterized by adherence to grammatical rules and vocabulary that are widely accepted and used in official and public contexts.
