The anticipated acquisition will result in an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year base period plus four annual options and a potential six-month extension under FAR 52.217-8, governed by a Firm Fixed Price structure. All performance roles demand a minimum Secret security clearance, with many requiring Top Secret and Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearances, and the contractor must maintain a Top Secret facility clearance. Foreign companies are strictly prohibited from participating in any capacity, and only domestically owned entities may respond. Full Description
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise and capabilities to meet the qualification requirements to provide the services needed to support the Enterprise Contracted Logistics Sustainment Support (ECLSS) services at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The preponderance of work will be perfomed at this location with occasional travel requirements to support field sites in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The Government is establishing an enterprise approach for accomplishing effective Supply Chain Management (SCM) to provide global logistics support to the war fighter. The ECLSS performance tasks include functioning as the Service Provider (SP) at the enterprise level for Materiel Management, Warehousing, and related SCM activities as identified by the weapon systems. Additionally, technical support of sustainment activities associated with product support of weapon system inventory of the kind provided by a sustainment equipment specialist will be required.
