Environmental Data Management and OCAP® Compliance Support

This contract supports environmental data management activities in alignment with Indigenous data sovereignty, grounded in the OCAP® principles of Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession. The work involves ensuring that all data governance practices during engagement, collection, analysis, and reporting uphold the rights of Indigenous communities over their own data, with specific emphasis on respectful, culturally appropriate protocols that prioritize Indigenous leadership and decision-making. The subcontractor will be expected to integrate OCAP® into every phase of data handling, from initial collection through final reporting, to ensure compliance and trustworthiness in interactions with Indigenous peoples and their governing bodies.
