The Capital Regional District (“CRD”) invites detailed proposals from proponents (the Proponents) in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents. The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a preferred proponent with the intent to negotiate to enter into a contract (the “Contract”) for the provision of services described in Appendix “A”.The Capital Regional District (CRD), hereinafter referred to as the CRD”, or “District ” invites Proposals for the on-site operation of the Material Diversion Transfer Station (MDTS) including the sorting, processing, and transportation of diverted materials originating from within the District for use within, and external to the Hartland Landfill.The District reserves the right to award in whole or in part. Proponents may be awarded additional follow-on work without a further competition.A Contract will not necessarily result from this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).The quantities are estimated annual amounts, with an initial term of four (4) years and four months and options to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year periods at the discretion of the CRD.
