The contracotr shall continue to operate TEG at NNSy and PSNS through Sept 30, 2011. The contractor shall address open and emergent Problem Reports, deliver software updates to the SMS, investigate conversion to the Winodws 7 operating system and perform routine support and maintenance. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
