THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. The purpose of this RFI is to seek information/comments regarding the procurement of supply chain services and the provision of products (see attachment for requirements listing). All interested sources must complete the survey (follow link below). Any proprietary information should be marked as such. This RFI will close 30 days after posting, on or about 19 April 2013, 4:30 PM EST. No telephone responses will be honored. The 771 ESS/EGB requests feedback from interested parties through the following survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LoadCarryingSystem The above link will direct you to the online questionnaire. For your convenience, there is an uploaded PDF document that has all the questions for your review prior to starting the online questionnaire. You will need to have information such as your company's DUNs number, basic employee data, revenue data, etc. for the past 3 fiscal tax years (or as best approximated). The PDF document is for reference only. The online questionnaire will be the sole tool for gathering responses; please use the best available information or estimates. If you need to stop the survey during any time, you will be able to resume your session using the same computer from which you started. Information requested will include providing the name, phone number, and e-mail address of a company representative that the Government may contact for additional information. We highly encourage all interested parties to provide a complete and thorough questionnaire in response to this RFI. However, not responding will not preclude participation should a solicitation be released. Note that official information concerning this RFI will be provided by the Contracting Officer only. PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Submitting entities should review FAR 3.104 and FAR subpart 24.2 which sets forth the Government's obligations to protect information submitted in response to this RFI. Pursuant to FAR 15.201(f), information to be provided by the Government in a public forum to a potential respondent in response to such respondent's request must not be disclosed if doing so would reveal the potential Respondent's confidential business strategy, and is protected under FAR 3.104 or FAR subpart 24.2.
