Public Works & Government Services Canada, on behalf of The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), requires the services of an architectural firm, acting as the Prime Consultant with a multi-disciplinary team of sub-consultants for the delivery of services required for this project. The PHAC requires design, construction administration, and post construction services to develop a new Medical Countermeasures Laboratory Facility with high containment laboratories. The Gross Building Area is estimated to be 13,000m2 and will be constructed adjacent to the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The new facility will be designed and built to meet or exceed applicable containment standards and regulations, building codes, and the sustainable development policies of PWGSC and the PHAC.
