Full Description

United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to award a sole source commercial contract with a base and four option years to TW Telecom Holdings, Inc (TWT) for 24X7 service for an existing 600 MB Ethernet (GigE) Circuit. The NAICS Code is 517919 with a small business size standard of $25.0M. The period of performance for the services will be 25 Jan 2010 through 24 Jan 2011. The contract will include four, 12-month option periods. The contract will be issued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is currently available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the notice. Responses received within thrity (30) days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determintation by the Governemnt not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses shall be submitted via email to contracting@socom.mil or amy.chauvin@socom.mil. Responses shall be received no later than 1:00 PM EST on 1 Dec 09.
