The USDA NRCS in New York is preparing to issue a solicitation for work authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rain with resultant flooding conditions. Alternative payment protection in the amount of 50% of contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required within 5 calendar days of award of contract. The location of the work sites will be within the flooded areas and as described in the solicitations. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. Price Range is between $25,000 - $100,000 Maximum performance time will be 8 calendar days A firm-fixed price award is anticipated under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
